My thoughts about Majin Luke; Good assist combos but are very OD hungry, when he has Lv1 Super available he shuts down fireballs and other moves, I would say a good beginner character and also have seen a master ranked Majin Luke so there are advantages over Classic 🙂 Think there will be 5 episodes of Majin Luke's Forearms Adventure so stay tuned! 😆

Initial thoughts about Majin Chun-Li; not really the character for me. I think you do need a bit of patient to play her. Assisted Light combo is garbage but luckily you can make your own hit-confirms pretty easily. Other assisted combos are good for punishing and Lv1 Super is a good counter to jumps and catching people with slow telegraphed attacks. My biggest issue is accidentally getting Lighting Kicks instead of Kikoken, make sure you have the charge or you may get screwed 😅

I remembered to not accidentally beat a Platinum player and start at Platinum, yay! 😂

You don't see it but the final match is what got Majin Rashid to Platinum. I could have cut the clip from the live stream but I didn't think about it at the time of making the video 😆 Next up is Majin Luke's Forearms Adventure! Will have quite a few episodes of those and should be live streaming tonight Majin Chun-Li 🙂

Initial thoughts on Majin (Modern Controls) Rashid; he has a lot of depth to him but for beginners you can play a simplified version and that includes using modern controls. I like his Light Assisted combo for hit-confirming, Medium Assisted combo does good damage with Lv1 Super and Heavy Assisted combo is only good when you have Lv3 otherwise you can use Medium Assisted combo or make your own combo like c.H/Assist H xx Eagle Spike. Eagle Spike is unsafe as hell but as he lands so far away a lot of people don't know how to punish him. You'll notice that I abuse it a lot and only stop spamming it when people know how to punish it 😂 Anyone who's serious about playing Rashid, I would strongly advise playing Classic Controls. Check out Big Bird, probably the best Rashid out there 🙂

No intro as only going to be one episode as I accidentally ended up getting to Platinum in the placement matches 😆 A.K.I. is not a character for me 😆 As for as Majin Mode is concerned I'd say anyone who is serious about learning A.K.I. should learn to play Classic Controls. If you really like the character and have issues with Classic Controls then you can play a gimpy version of A.K.I. with Majin Mode, just need to have good fundamentals and patience 😆

Initial thoughts of Majin Luke; he's fun, he's very meter heavy, I found it hard to not burn through drive meter. You notice that my Light Assisted combo didn't combo when I was running on empty, I think what happened is that by mashing L it charges the Knuckle and then stops the combo so I need to be careful with that 😆 Anyways hopefully back tomorrow night to get to Platinum 😆

Ed a pretty fun character for me. I felt Majin (Modern Controls) doesn't hinder him too badly or hold him back. He loses a good hit-confirm but you can just use Light Assist combo to hit-confirm without really need to hit-confirm. He has good Medium and Heavy Assist combos as well. Pro Eds won't play Majin mode as the benefits are small compared to Classic Controls but I think he can still be quite competitive 🙂

Fights are getting tougher but Rashid finally got to Platinum. Tomorrow night I may be back to stay in Platinum 😂

Short episode as a couple of left over matches. Jamie is not the character for me, I didn't really find him fun. I did like having a pretty decent AA and an invincible reversal though 😆

Dammit I accidentally got to Platinum in the placement matches again. I may play Majin AKI a bit more tomorrow night, really not my character 😂

Something I didn't realise until I had pretty much finished with Jamie is that he starts at 90% damage. Each drunk level ups his damage by 5% so you need to be at drunk level 2 to be at 100% damage and at max drunk level you'll be 110% damage. This coupled with the modern controls damage nerf makes him hit like a little weakling to start with 😅

I don't think Jamie the character for me xD First night I didn't do well at all, did bit better the second night. Modern Controls isn't too bad but don't think you're really getting any advantage over Classic if you're able to use Classic without issue. Episode 1 of 4 :) I don't know why the sound came out like this, think all the Jamie matches are going to sound a bit tinny unfortunately.
